In this tour, we will start from Bagan which is home to the interesting temples built durin 11th century. Buddism life and traditions would be observed as we visited. Follow up by visiting Mandalay and Amarapura which was once an ancient city built on the advice of astorlogers. Mandalay hill, Sagaing hill, famous mingu bell, U Bein Bridge and enjoy the sunset from Bay of Ayyarwady River.
Itinerary
Day 01: YANGON – BAGAN (by express bus)
Aung San high way bus station by own arrangement. Depart to Bagan at 8pm by local express night bus.
Day 02: BAGAN (Private Transportation)
Arrive Bagan in the early morning .Our station guide will welcome you and transfer to hotel for check-in. First sightseeing visit Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda – built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine, Wetgyi-inn Gubyaukgyi – a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scene, Anada Temple & Oakkyaung: the most beautiful temple in Bagan with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated figures in niches around the galleried interior; Thatbaynyu Temple – the tallest temple in Bagan and built by King Alaung Sithu in the early 11th century. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.
Day 03: BAGN (Private Transportation) (B)
After breakfast at hotel, sightseeing visit to Lacquerware Industry, Minnanthu Village, Phwasaw village- where one can see the villagers’ life and then back to the hotel to relax . After some relaxation at hotel and evening visit to other attraction places. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.
DAY 04: BAGAN –MANDALAY (Private Transportation) (B)
After breakfast, leave bagan for Mandalay by private transportation. Transfer to hotel. Our station guide welcome you and then visit Mahamuni Pagoda , one of the most sacred Buddha Images in Mandalay and then proceed to gold foil – making cottage industry to see the ways of life the local and followed by evening Amarapura – an ancient capital built on the advice of astrologers. Proceed to U Bein Bridge to take a walk and built. It is an old wooden bridge across the Taung Thaman Lake which is built over 200years ago and 1.2km long. Then proceed to Mandalay. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
DAY 05: MANDALAY (Private Transportation) (B)
In the early morning, for a sightseeing, we will visit Mandalay Hill, from there you can see the amazing sunrise view of Mandalay city and then transfer back to hotel, drive to Sagaing Hill – known as the center for meditation with hundreds of Pagodas, Monasteries & Nunneries tucked into the surrounding valleys & hills. Visit U Min Thoneze- which means thirty caves pagoda. It has many Buddha images in a crescent shaped colonnade. Proceed to Sun Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda which was constructed in 1312 -the view of Sagaing from there is marvelous. Visit Kaunghmudaw Pagoda – an enormous dome shaped pagoda built in 16th century; Pottery and Silversmith workshops. After lunch, boat trip to Mingun where the world largest ringing bell exist. Tour highlights includes: Mingun Bell, an unfinished Mingun Pagoda, Mya Thein Tan Pagoda; Settawya Pagoda and Hsinbyume Pagoda; Mingum village and environs.Back to Mandalay by enjoying the sunset view over the Mihty Ayerwaddy River. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
DAY 06: DEPARTURE FROM MANDALAY (B)
After breakfast at hotel, will transfer to Mandalay International Airport for departure
